My acer windows vista laptop likes to be glitchy, and for some reason it just wont let me download windows media player. It doesn’t say ‘error’ or anything, it just wont let me.
Does anyone have a direct link to where I can download windows media player? Or something like that?

I am completely new to linux fedora and linux for that matter. I am running fedora from a live usb until i get these issues fixed. I apparently need to install mpeg decoders, xvid decoders, avi decoders and a flash player. Being a complete noob to linux I don’t know how to go about this.

If my iphone bought in the USA will not work with European SIM cards, then how Iphone could be used in Europe and elsewhere (with Sim cards of local operators)? This would mean that Apple makes different types of Iphones for different parts of the world? Is it right?

I just downloaded the Mepis version of Linux to a Cd. When I restart my computer it just turns back on the way it normally does, and doesnt load the Linuz application. How can I get this to work? (I have other versions of Linux on Cd’s that load on start up just fine)…please help [...]
